at all times.
Parents Code

P.A.Y.A.L. has a ZERO TOLERANCE stance towards physical or verbal abuse.
Shall serve as role models for their children. Be aware of this and work
to be a positive role model. Applaud good plays by your child's team as
well as the opposing team. Shall refrain from coaching or refereeing from
the sidelines. No one, except players, coaches, referees or P.A.Y.A.L.
officials, is allowed on the fields at any time. Shall remember this is
a YOUTH game. Show good sportmanship at all times. Shall not use alcholic
beverages, illegal drugs or tobacco products on either game or practice
fields. Shall make an earnest attempt to keep constant communication with
your coach. Remember coaches are people who volunteer and have full-time
jobs. Shall attempt to make all practice and games on time. Shall notify
a coach as soon as possible if this is not possible. Shall emphasize that
participants strive for and maintain good grades. Shall not leave your
child unattended at any practice or game. A parent or guardian must be
able to be reached in the event of an emergency; and to take charge of
their child upon dismissal from practice or a game.
Please note that as per
town ordinance, pets are not permitted within the fenced areas of Airport
Park. P.A.Y.A.L. will allow one parent to sign this Code of Conduct, but
it is the responsibility of all who attend any P.A.Y.A.L. event to know
and adhere to the Code. NO ONE will be excused from this Code because
they did not know about it. Failure to abide by the Code of Conduct will
result in coming before the P.A.Y.A.L. Board of Directors. If anyone (parents,
guardians, spectators, guests) is found guilty of any infractions, this
will result in suspensions or ejection from the league. The Board of Directors
will determine all penalties handed out. |
